An international non-governmental organisation (NGO) with operations all over the world was looking for a way to gain real-time insight into syslog data, reduce the need for custom scripts, and correlate unstructured machine data that was spread across multiple systems. The need for a centralised real-time monitoring solution is to bring operational and digital intelligence across the complex infrastructures used by businesses to execute their various processes and functions.

  • Another major issue that the customer was dealing with was the protection of business data.
  • To understand and respond to data threats, the company required the best approach for collecting, analysing, prioritising, grouping, visualising, and reporting security-related data.

Webuters addressed the business challenges, and by integrating Splunk with Salesforce, the customer saw an increase in the efficiency of their internal processes, as well as operations that were automated in Splunk. Capturing and monitoring massive amounts of data siloed from various systems became a piece of cake. Salesforce, Classy Fundraising system, DocuSign, DocGen and Other SaaS Database, Endpoint logs, Operating system logs, and other business operations data were major data sources used in this integration.

The integration of Salesforce and Splunk resulted in noticeable improvements in the NGO’s overall management – increased operational efficiency, quick and accurate troubleshooting, reduced downtime, optimised maintenance, enhanced reporting and analytics, and GEO location-based insights for data security.
