About the Client

The client ran advertising across several Google AdWords accounts and wanted to manage all of them from a single platform: Salesforce.

Business Challenges

Business Challenges

The client needed daily campaign details (impressions, clicks, costs and other metrics) from multiple Google AdWords accounts, kept up to date inside Salesforce. That called for a way to pull each account's campaign performance reports, functions to collect every campaign detail the client required, and a daily scheduler, because the campaign data kept changing.

Webuters’ Solution

Webuters built the integration in Node.js. AWS Lambda functions fetch campaign data from every AdWords account, save and retrieve it, and run on a daily schedule, so the campaign data in Salesforce stays current.

Multi-account data collection

Campaign performance data, including impressions, clicks and costs, is collected from every Google AdWords account the client runs.

Node.js on AWS Lambda

Lambda functions written in Node.js save and retrieve the campaign data without any servers to manage.

Daily scheduler

A scheduled Lambda run refreshes the campaign data every day, so Salesforce reflects the latest performance.

One view in Salesforce

All accounts' campaign data lives in Salesforce and can be filtered by day, week, month and year.
